Letting Little Things Crush You

“If you live in an oppressive society, you’ve got to be resilient. You can’t let each little thing crush you. You have take every encounter and make yourself larger, rather than allow yourself to be diminished by it.”

A Magic-Filled Day

Today, I am thankful for today!
“The easiest and simplest way to ensure that your day ahead will be filled with magic is to fill your morning with gratitude. When you incorporate gratitude into your morning routine, you will feel and see its magical benefits throughout the whole day. There’s no room for harmful negative thoughts when your mind is focused on looking for things to be grateful for.”

Today, It’s a Completely Different Story

“I put off having a family because I knew that I wanted to be there for my family and I was traveling a lot. At that time, the industry was not ready to allow pregnant women the opportunity to still be on camera or on the silver screen. Today it’s a completely different story, but back then, I would have lost my contract. I would have never been hired again because people were just not ready for that at that particular time.”

The Importance of Self-Care

“I honestly wish I understood the importance of self-care. Everything you go through, your business goes through. If you are not fully present, your business will suffer. Maintaining balance at all times should be your utmost priority and not something to be pushed off for later when you’re “more available.””

Dare to Achieve Something Worth Doing

“Now is the time to be bolder, to dare to achieve, to begin something worth doing. Begin now to do something that has long been a dream, something that makes you approach each new day as a journey to accomplish what you want and desire.Your days are numbered, you won’t live forever so now is the time to grab hold of that dream and shake it for all it’s worth. Time is a fleeting commodity that can never be retrieved again so do it now, not tomorrow or the next day – now.”

Family Really is Important

“I think a lot of the problems we have as a society is because we don’t acknowledge that family is important,
and it has to be people who are present, you know, and mothers and fathers,
both are not present enough with children.”

I Went Merrily to the Bank

“If you can’t ‘Bank’, there’s no need to work.  If I want to do a charity or freebie, I will choose that on my own.
But, basically, I work to see “Okay, the nut is cracked what do I have left to put into the bank?”
Because the bottom line is to capitalize on my health and success, or popularity, at this moment;
because it’s not promised to me in the future (and to prepare for that future).
Even if I become more so, there’s no one to promise that to me.  I’d be a fool to cry later and say,
“I can’t pay my bills; I don’t have anything.”, and whatever.  I don’t want to be one of those people.
I want to say, “Look, when it was time to make hay, I made it.  I’m like a little ant, I went merrily to the bank and put it away.””

Life Is a Process

“Life is a process, and you just take it a day at a time,
